Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Infyways Solutions Private Limited, a company registered in India ("Infyways", "we", "us", "our"). Infyways owns and runs JoomlaX (joomlax.com), the online store where we sell the Joomla extensions we develop.

By buying, downloading, installing or using any extension from JoomlaX, you confirm that you've read and agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't buy or use our extensions.

The short version

• Our extensions are released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 (GPL v2). You can use, change and share them under that license.
• Your plan gives you downloads, updates and support during your plan period (30 Days, 6 Months, 1 Year or Lifetime). You need a download key to download extensions and get updates.
• Plans don't renew automatically. We never charge you unless you buy. When your plan expires, we email you, and renewing is up to you.
• We take payment through PayPal and Razorpay.
• Refunds follow our 30-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply). See the Refund Policy.
• You can change the code under the GPL, but we don't support modified code.
• Our extensions are provided "as is", without warranties. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

1. Who we are

• Infyways Solutions Private Limited, a company registered in India, is the legal entity responsible for sales, billing, support, licensing and updates.
• JoomlaX is the brand and storefront we use to distribute Infyways Joomla extensions.
• Infyways collects payments through approved payment providers: PayPal and Razorpay.

2. Your license: GPL v2

All extensions sold on JoomlaX and developed by Infyways are released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 (GPL v2). The license covers every part of the product, including:

• PHP code
• CSS and JavaScript files
• Images and icons
• Documentation

Under the GPL v2 you may:

• Use the extension for any purpose
• Change the extension's code (but see §7: we don't support modified code)
• Share original or modified copies under the GPL v2

When you share a copy, original or modified, you must:

• Keep the GPL license information
• Keep the original copyright and author notices
• Say clearly that you've changed it, if you have

3. What your purchase includes

When you buy an extension or a bundle, you get the following for your plan period. Your plan period starts on the date of purchase and lasts for the length of the plan you bought.

Plans

During your plan period you get:

• Downloads. Unlimited downloads of the extension.
• Updates to the extension.
• Support, during your plan period.

When your plan period ends, downloads and updates stop together. Lifetime plans don't expire.

Number of sites. Under the GPL v2 you may install and use the extension on multiple domains. Each plan also lists a number of sites (see the table above, and the product or pricing page when you buy). Your license covers the number of sites listed for your plan. This is a license term only: there's no domain registration or activation.

Our support system may check that you have an active license before you can open a support request.

When your plan ends, you can keep using the extensions you've already downloaded. The GPL v2 rights you have in that code continue. To keep getting downloads, updates and support, renew your license (see §5).

4. Download keys

• You need a valid download key to download our extensions and to get updates, including updates through the Joomla updater.
• You get one download key for each product in each purchase. You can find your keys on your Download History page.
• A download key stops working when the plan period for that purchase ends. Keys for lifetime plans don't expire.
• If an order is refunded, the download keys for that order stop working. Your other orders aren't affected.
• Your download keys are for your own use. Please keep them private.

5. Payments and renewals

• Payments are processed through our payment providers, PayPal and Razorpay.
• By placing an order, you authorize Infyways to take payment for the products you've chosen on JoomlaX.
• Infyways doesn't store or directly process your credit or debit card details. Your payment provider handles them.

Renewals

• Plans don't renew automatically. We never charge you unless you choose to buy.
• We email you when your plan expires. Renewing is optional, and we never force a renewal.
• Renewal price. If you renew, you pay the regular price or any offer price available at the time.
• All plans can be renewed.
• Refunds on renewals. A renewal can be refunded within 14 days of the renewal date if you haven't downloaded an update or used support since it renewed. See the Refund Policy.

6. Refunds

Purchases are covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply). If an extension doesn't work as described, or doesn't work with a supported Joomla and PHP version, and our support team can't fix it, you can get a full refund if you ask within 30 days of purchase.

The guarantee doesn't cover change of mind or switching to another extension. Renewals can be refunded within 14 days of the renewal date if unused. Bundles are refunded all-or-nothing. Lifetime plans follow the same 30-day rule. The 30 Days plan isn't covered. We don't offer exchanges.

7. Support

Support from Infyways through JoomlaX may include:

• Bug fixes for our extensions
• Help with installation issues
• General guidance on using the extension's features

Support doesn't include:

• Custom features or customization
• Issues caused by third-party extensions, templates or custom code
• Problems caused by changes you've made to the extension
• Server, hosting or Joomla core issues that our extension didn't cause

We don't support modified code. The GPL lets you change the extension's code, but once the code has been changed, we can't support it. Problems with modified code, including features that stop working after a change, aren't covered by support.

Custom development or extended support may cost extra. We'll discuss it and agree the price with you before starting.

8. Your responsibilities

When you use our extensions, you agree to:

• Follow the terms of the GPL license
• Not present Infyways or JoomlaX products as your own original work
• Not use our extensions for anything illegal or unauthorized
• Make sure your server, hosting and Joomla installation meet the extension's technical requirements

9. No warranty

All products are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Infyways isn't liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from:

• Using, or being unable to use, our extensions
• Loss of data
• Business interruption
• Conflicts with third-party extensions, templates or hosting environments

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to downloads, updates or support if:

• We detect fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
• License terms or usage policies are broken
• Anyone behaves abusively, threateningly or inappropriately toward our support team

This doesn't take away the rights the GPL v2 gives you in code you've already received.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may change or update these Terms. We'll post any changes on this page. Changes apply to purchases made after the date of the change. The Terms in force when you made a purchase continue to apply to that purchase.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
